LEGO Ninjago (Ninja-go) is the only current Ninja theme in LEGO.
The four main Ninjas that are in it all know an attack called Spinjitzu (Spin-jit-su)
That attack will twirl them around at the Skeletons (AKA, the bad guys of the theme).
The Ninjas are Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane.
Not only is Ninjago a series of sets, it is also a trading card game.
Depending on who you buy, it will come with a spinner to make it look like they are doing real Spinjitzu. And cards to make them do their 'Special Attacks'. The prices are excellent for this theme. ($9.99 a spinner)
This theme is very popular for 8-12 year olds.
Not to mention this theme has the largest storyline for any LEGO Theme
This theme became so popular a TV series of it aired on Cartoon Network!
Story[]
Long ago, Ninjago was made by the first spinjitzu master, by using the four weapons of Spinjitzu: The cythe of quakes, The nunchucks of Lightning, the Shuricaens of ice, and the sword of fire.Weapons were so powerful, no one could handle all of their power at 1 time.. When he died , his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest was consumed by darkness, and wanted to posses them. A battle between brothers broke-out, and the oldest was struck down and banished to the underworld.
Peace came back,and the smaller brother hid the weapons, but knowing his brother ambition for power, he made a map for the weapons and gave it to an honest man. The honest man was Kai's father.
The older brother was Lord Garmadon, and the youger brother was Sensei Wu, Wu must find the weapons before Garmadon. Since Garmadon cannot leave the Underworld, he has struck a deal with Samukai and his skeleton force.
In response to Garmadon, Sensei Wu gathered four young ninjas, Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, to teach them the ways of Spinjitzu. Only they and Sensei Wu can stop Lord Garmadon. And that's where your battle begins...
